1. Enhanced Flexibility for Employers and Workers

Implementation Timeline

The rule takes effect on January 17, 2025, when a new edition of Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, will be required for all petitions. To facilitate a smooth transition, USCIS will publish a preview version of the updated form on its official website, uscis.gov, in the coming weeks.
